Supporting those who need it the most
The Masonic Charitable Foundation
The Masonic Charitable Foundation provides a wide range of grants to Freemasons and families. Typically it is those who have a financial, health and care or family need. The Foundation also awards grants to other charities, medical research studies and disaster relief appeals. Funded entirely through the generous donations of the Masonic community, the Foundation has an annual charitable expenditure which places it amongst the largest charities in the country. The Foundation is financially strong, well-resourced and able to respond to changing needs.

This lodge and its close associate, another Leicestershire-based traveling motorcycle lodge, Joey Dunlop 1881, also support Blood Bikes as an organization. The Mark Degree Through the MBF, buying them 16 new bikes and funding local running costs for this excellent charity through fun activities like go-karting and sponsored rides …Most members attend both or are members of both the ‘Craft as the ‘Mark.’ As three meetings a year isn’t a massive commitment, many joiners to craft look for another lodge, and Joey Dunlop works well as the meetings are on the same basis, one a year in Leicestershire and two traveling meetings Saturdays in May, June & August. to enquire about joining the mark degree and Joey Dunlop, an option that is only available once your masonic journey is at certain stage normally a year or so once you’ve joined ‘Craft’ .
